Monthly, hands-on sessions that help children build a meaningful connection with Nigeria through language, stories, music, history, traditional games, crafts and cultural celebrations. The program rotates exposure to Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and Nigerian Pidgin rather than presenting one language as representative of every Nigerian family. These are cultural and introductory language sessions — not a fluency program. One 90-minute Saturday session each month from September through June. Free for eligible children connected to an active ANIV membership. Recommended public drop-in price: $15 per child. Member priority registration, configurable session capacity and waitlist. A structured way for young ANIV members to gain Canadian volunteer experience, build leadership skills and receive recognition. Track verified volunteer activities and hours, require administrator or event-lead approval, display approved hours in My ANIV Access, generate milestone certificates, recognize youth volunteers annually, provide leadership opportunities at appropriate ANIV events, and allow eligible youth to request a reference letter after 20 verified volunteer hours. A reference letter is never generated from self-reported hours alone — it requires administrator approval.

Six fun summer Saturdays where children can play, build friendships and enjoy the community spirit of Nigerian football. Member children: $25 for the six-session season. Non-member children: $75. Administrators may make the program free if sponsorship covers the cost. Includes member early registration, participant capacity and waitlist, age-group configuration, emergency contact information, parent or guardian consent, required waivers, relevant medical or accessibility information, coach and volunteer assignments, and attendance tracking.

A warm annual holiday experience where families can enjoy professionally created Christmas portraits and a special Santa meet-and-greet in a welcoming ANIV community setting. Active paid members receive 20% off the regular booking price, at least seven days of early booking access, priority access to preferred appointment times, one discounted photo-session booking per paid membership each season, and access to any member-only photo package configured for that year. All prices, discount percentages, booking limits and early-access dates are configurable by an administrator. The booking system supports configurable appointment times, session duration, capacity per slot, real-time availability, waitlist, double-booking prevention, household and child details, parent or guardian consent for minors, and separate photography and image-use consent. Attendance is never interpreted as consent to publish a family's photographs. Youth memberships cannot independently book or pay; booking must be completed by an adult member or guardian.

A secure member-benefits directory lists each participating business, the offer, redemption instructions, eligible membership types, offer and expiry dates, terms, and a Verify Membership option where required. Only active members see private discount codes or redemption instructions; public visitors see participating businesses and a general description, then are prompted to join or sign in. Quarterly professional gatherings that connect members with career guidance, business opportunities, mentorship and meaningful community referrals. Four sessions per year. Members attend free; recommended public admission $20. Member priority registration. Features professional and business-member spotlights, resume and LinkedIn reviews, mock interviews, mentorship appointments, credential-navigation information, structured industry introductions and business referral exchanges. Session recordings and resources are available to members. Reserved for active members: one-to-one mentor appointments, resume-book inclusion, recordings and downloadable resources, professional spotlight applications and member referral opportunities. Eligible ANIV Business Plus members may apply for featured business presentations, event tables and promotional spotlights.

A full career fair is not advertised until employers and community partners are confirmed.

Celebrate, connect and dance with exclusive member pricing and early access to selected ANIV Afrobeat parties and nightlife experiences. Active paid adult members receive 15% off eligible ANIV Afrobeat party tickets, at least 48 hours of advance ticket access, one member-priced ticket per active adult profile per eligible event, and access to occasional members-only ticket releases or reserved allocations. For Household memberships, each active eligible adult profile may purchase one member-priced ticket; one Household account cannot purchase unlimited discounted tickets. Student members who meet the event's age requirement also qualify. The minimum attendance age is configurable per event; not every Afrobeat event is 19+. ANIV CARES is our community care work: looking out for members through illness, bereavement, new arrivals and the difficult stretches. Members can request help confidentially, and we coordinate access to counselling, financial and legal support through partner organisations.
