ANIV Bylaws

The bylaws are the operating rules of our association, how membership works, how the executive leads, and the standards we hold ourselves to. Every member agrees to them on joining, and they belong to all of us.

The bylaws exist to keep ANIV fair, transparent and accountable to its members. They define who we are as an association, how decisions are made, and what every member can expect, and is expected of them, in return. They are reviewed and updated by the executive in line with the procedures set out in the document itself.

What the bylaws cover

Membership & Eligibility

Who can join, the categories of membership, what membership means, and the rights and responsibilities that come with being a member in good standing.

Executive & Governance

How the executive is elected, the roles and duties of each officer, how meetings are called and conducted, and how decisions are made and recorded.

Conduct & Standards

The community standards members agree to uphold, expectations of behaviour, and how concerns or breaches of the bylaws are handled.

Finances & Operations

How dues are set and collected, how the association's funds are managed and reported, and the operational procedures that keep ANIV running transparently.
